Surface harmony is the core culture in China. That's why it is normal to perform the necessary rituals of obedience and conformity. 

Key word here is balance. In terms of the business operation, team are structured to make decisions based on merit and we have such automatic and stupid systems to ensure transparent investment on different customers, to audit what is happening on point of purchase done by third party instead of our sales staff, to summarize each inevitable step of planning. But talking about people caring, what I see is the so-called surface harmony and the cohesion and RenXin is vanishing towards zero.
